Extra battery tray

Has anyone pulled out storage boxes to put in 2nd batteries? I'd like to do that, I don't hide 40oz bottles in the storage box anymore

(they go in the toolbox in the back now )

Not my pic, but this is what it is. Looks like you could take it out and slap a battery in there.

I guess it's cool. Would work like a small trunk with the hood latched. I dont know what you would keep in it though.

Well I used to store quarts of oil in there, but 1 day my power steering quart sprung a leak, I thought I blew my power steering hose again.

Other than that, I put hose clamps, zip ties, rags, funnel.. basic stuff.

Id rather have a battery there though.

Yeah its called a Charcoal Canister, if you go back up to the picture of that storage box, its directly left (in the picture left) of that box, just a black cylinder with charcoal in it, traps fuel vapors from emitting from the vehicle.

with a second battery tray the charcoal canister is relocated closer to the radiator
