How much taller is the Edelbrock 3704 intake then the stock one?

I thought they were the same. I haven't picked one up yet. I hope to very soon, just have to find some time to get over to the guys house.

it says oem/stock height ....I have one ported for a 454 throttle body

Also from what I've heard they don't really do anything beneficial until more mods are in place. The only reason I'm getting one is because it's half the cost and brand new basically. I'm going to make sure I swap out the Y pipe before I install it though. Need to make sure the "beast" can exhale before it inhales more LoL!

LoL! Awesome me too. I found it in amazon for $44 it's the best I could find and since I have prime. I get it delivered in 2 days free. Then I called a shop who said they can out in for $25.
