Yep, would have been nice to find one of those when my bud was doing his shortbed dually conversion on his formerly 88 C1500 reg cab stepside. As a short term solution the gas door got the rear edge chopped off instead of chopping the fender.

Right. The crew cab short bed duallies had different rear fenders to clear the fuel door.

Not to replace a set of dually fenders on the early one. If you were taking a regular long bed and turning it into a dually then it wouldn't matter.

Can you better familiarize me with the mounting? My bed is at a friend's house and it's a 96. Found some proclaimed "perfect" white dually fenders off a 99 in white. I realize the driver's front is shorter to clear the gas lid and all, just not sure how the holes are punched in the sheet metal.
