So I have run into an issue in swapping the rear leaf springs on my 97 k1500. I was going to replace the stock springs with a leaf pack off of a 2500 since I’m going to be towing quite a bit

, but the way the new springs are arched causes them to hit the exhaust tip on my dual exhaust. If I could install some drop shackles, the springs would clear the exhaust tip, but I would have to put about a 3 inch block in to keep it somewhat level since the truck is lifted. Is it ok for the pinion angle to run blocks and drop shackles? Would it hurt anything else? I have attached a picture to show the problem

I think you should be good, the block should have a pinion correction already in it. But wouldn't it be easier to reroute the exhaust?
