DRL options

on my 98 C1500, I simply pulled the fuse so as to not have my HID headlamps burning all day as the daytime running lamps.

What I would LIKE to do, but dont have the savvy brain to figure out, is be able to wire a set of LED running lamps in as my DRL's instead of the headlamps.

Anyone ever do this? Anyone have a clue how I could wire the signal to a set of running lamps where they would illuminate INSTEAD of the headlamp low bulbs?

Yeah
Leave that fuse out and run the led through a relay
To turn on when you turn the key forward
But for the record
I have had my HIDs running DRL for about 5 years with no issues
