DirtridinZ71 Budget SAS/Offroad Build

Well this weekend I finally got around to getting the donar vechicle for my SAS, using a 1990 GMC Jimmy with 350, 700R4 and NP241c.

Plans are to use stock hangers, rear 52" springs, front axle, driveshaft and t-casse. Cross over steering, and regearing to 4.56 to match my rear 9.5" 14 bolt that is in the truck, everything else all pretty basic, just replacing old parts. Around 7" of lift and stay with my 35" tires for now.

This will be a slow build with my 2 week old daughter getting most of my time and work getting the rest. Also a budget build so no fancy parts that wont be needed.

The Doner:

basically same parts i used, the rear spring shackle hangers from a 4x4 are too long to use flipped, 2wd ones are shorter and work better, they also do not put too much leverage on the side of the frame like the tall ones do, crazy the damage those do when they try to wrap
