o i could suggest if its to bright for you driving at night simply splice it thru one of the map light switches. ignition input to a single switch and output to the gauge thats how im gonna eventually have mine wired but just ON or OFF. im to lazy to run a new wire to the switches input. its a nice hidden touch most people would never know! hell i never need more than one map light anyways
