The last time I started it up ( a couple years ago), it ran just fine. Id look it over before I ran it, but Im not aware of any problems.

Just pulled a valve cover off, and its as clean as a whistle! Doesnt mean a lot, but it makes me hopeful. At least they werent running Penzoil....

That is quite clean. Did you find a blown head gasket?
