Meh, door strips are there for a reason.

Saved my sheet metal more than once.

I'd rather have decent looking OEM moldings on there than a "clean" but scratched and dented look any day.

Just IMHO.....you mileage may vary.

One if the first things I did to my truck was take all the badges and molding off. Only badges that are still on the truck are the Silverado on the C pillars.

Sent from my iPhone in some random spot of Texas.

x2. I don't think they look good at all demolded, but looks aside, it isn't that bright to do, for this very reason.
No offence to any guys with demolded trucks, but the first thing I think of when I see one is "show truck". Not "truck that is used for anything other than driving around in" (grandpa cruiser). That's my personal bias, of course.

do be careful if your doing it, i didnt use a "heatgun" a simple extra hairdryer will work, with some fishing line and a little patience and time. then use eraser wheel for the extra glue stuck on the body, goo gone helps!

the downside to removing them is there may be ghosting and paint under them may not match directly
from my pic it looks perfect eh? but in reality theres some spots with noticeably paint difference, and a couple dings but imo i like the look. Makes it have a more smooth, sleek and cleaner look. Mines a z71 i had taken the decals off a while back when i removed the tailgate strip.
