How hard was it to tap into the courtesy lights?

None at all the harness only has 2 wires which is the 12v power and the other is the ground. I had an orange wire for positive and a white one for ground

I've had mine for over 2 years. Still work fine

Yep those are cool I tapped in to the courtesy light in the door put them where u did also, but went with different route
