hello guys.

Just finished installing these neat logo courtesy lights in the door. I love them, I wired them up to my in can courtesy light so they turn on only with the open door.

Here how they look

I also updated the front lights.

That door light is one of the sickest things I've ever seen. Where did you get it??? Did you bolt it on into your door panel?

Thanks guys

Yep that's the ones.

In the door there is a gromet that plugs a hole. I drilled it and slid the projector in it. Fits like a glove.

It's under the door, I'll take pics of the location tomorrow
cool, I'd like to see that

I hope you have better luck with them than I did. I mounted GMC ones in the same spot you did and after about 3 months of shutting my doors the driver one is shattered on the projection, not the glass or lens is damaged, it's internal. then shortly after the pass. side one did the same thing. And I never slam my doors, hinge pin bushings have no play, not quite sure what damaged them other than the shock of regular door shutting. Keep us posted on how they hold up. I may have gotten a bad set or something

Man sorry t hear bout your bad experience. I put mines in a piece of plastic that plugs an existing hole in the door. The actual projector sits inside higher than the plastic so it has plenty of clearance. I'll take pics tomorrow

As you can see I drilled tru that plastic cap, inserted the projector, installed the security ring it comes with and wired it all up. Clears the frame flawlessly and works like a charm
