Cateye mirrors on a 400?

My mirrors are shot. My buddy has a 05 avalanche and is getting tow mirrors and is giving me his stock mirrors. I know wiring may not be the same and I can work around that but will they physically fit on a gmt400?

The shape of the mount/base is different as is the bolt pattern.

I may try to Frankenstein them to make them fit then. I hate the factory 400 mirrors and I don't have a reason to get tow mirrors.
