So I'm looking to get better performance from the good old truck. The cam I'm looking at is the 08-408-8 cam. My question is what all do I need to buy? I know lifters, springs, and pushrods. (maybe roller rockers.) or do I need to buy the whole kit? Also how hard is a cam? I dot have a ton of cash for someone to do it for me and I love work on stuff. For 600 I can get a cam, lifters, and timing set. For 750 I can get cam, lifters, timing, pushrods, springs, etc. I know this is a small cam but I like the RPM Range.
