on my 35 spare. it looks ****. have a bunch of cutting and small stuff to do along with put the brakes on and lift the rear with shackle flip i have. last few pics have been from my phone. will take good ones tomorrow. thinking of either running these wheels and maybe spacers or put the 15x10s

was a pain to get the u bolt in the plate. had to put a c clamp to press it in

hard to tell but cut the crossmember for spring clearance

Man when I said notch the housing, a slight grinding with a grinder would have done the job. But it came out nice man!

why did you cut the housing? the ubolts are supposed to go the other way and there is a cradle that mounts to the bottom side of the axle

every solid axle swap i have seen the u bolts come from the bottom of the axle up to the plate on top of the springs

ford leaf sprung axles come from the top down and have a cradle that goes under the axle
here is my 78 ford d60, the d44 is pretty much the same, you can see the bolts go down, i know i have a better picture just have to find it

Yes stock ones are like that. If you run a u bolt flip kit like he did then how his looks is correct. But he didn't have to notch that big
