You can mount an alternator ground to the bottom bolt on the alternator mount easily. Same benefit as any other ground: provides a more direct route between negatively charged components of the electrical system.

There is also an unused bolt hole in the back of the bracket that I used.

Where was your alt ground? Whats the extra benefit of adding it?
The alt is grounded on the case of the alt. So the ground has to flow through the metal of the truck to get back to the neg bat lead. By taking a large wire directly from the alt case back to the neg bat this gives a direct line for the current to flow back to the bat. Here is a pic of mine.

Damn! Bitten again by premature action.

Wish I had known that I'd have purchased yours. Granted I only spent about $140 in materials but I cannot return (stock wire by the foot). Your kits price looks very fair for the labor and research that went into making a plug n play kit.
