Best shocks

Hello all. I just lowered my 1998 RCSB with McGaughy's 4/6 kit which included shocks. The ride is not nearly what I had hoped for and I have a suspicion it is from the shocks. I've lowered several of these trucks before and the ride was much better. Has anyone had this same luck with this kit? The shocks were supposedly made for this kit but I didn't know if there were better shocks out there that might give a better ride. Ride seems bouncy and nervous.

I have belltech drop shocks on mine and love it

I have adjustable ranchero rs9000 in mine and I love them! I like that I can turn a knob on the shock and get the ride that I want either soft for daily use or stiff for hauling.
