Bad Noise, Help, question

No bad noise when truck is running, with trans in neutral. When I press the clutch pedal in, a noise that is hard to describe occurs. When I shift into gear, truck stalls. Its a 5 speed.

I was going to say throwout bearing, but I don't think that would make the truck stall when you put it in gear.

If you put it in gear with the clutch in does the truck move when you start it? Could just be time for a clutch.

Throwout bearing edge was punched through by the clutch fork. Previous owner installed wrong. New throwout bearing solved the problem!
