Axle weight?

I am geting a d 44 axle tomaro and i was wondering how much it ways it is compleet besides the tires and the calipers?

Am going to try to lift it in my truck my self after digging it out.

I don't think that is gonna happen very easily. Especially if your truck is lifted at all.

Ehh, just prop up one end in the bed, then do a power clean to get the rest up. I have put axles in and out of my truck all the time. Its easier with a buddy though.

not sure about a D44, i know i can just barely lift a stock 10 bolt rearend complete with drums. but its much much better with 2 guys.

Its gonna weigh about he same as a 10-bolt. You can lift one end at a time and walk it in yourself, but it would be easier with a friend. You can make it happen. A dana 60 is about 600lbs, that I would not recommend alone!
