alternator upgrade

Have a '94 C1500 with a 5.7 with electric fans. When they kick in voltage goes low. Have only a stock unit. What alternator would increase the output and not require any mods?

I honestly have no clue. Best thing to start with is go to a well stocked auto store and compare sizes. The wiring can all be sorted out.
