Anyone ever see this type of electrical connector? It is the one that the wire is broken. Know of what I can use as a substitute?Disclaimer: Links on this page pointing to Amazon, eBay and other sites may include affiliate code. If you click them and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission.
Glad you got it fixed. Rust and worn/fraid wires are always an enemy when working with electronics. I would probably just splice in two eyelet connectors that size with new wire unless you really want the factory look.Truck is fixed now. Still need that connected. I rigged it to work.
Does anyone know of a site where oem connectors are sold or a workaround to that connector? It goes on the firewall, closest to the firewall.
With the double crimp it is very hard to get the 2nd smaller crimp open, that's the problem. I'm going to go to the a couple of electrical warehouses in the next few days.Keep an eye out at pull-a-part, you may find a nice one on an old square body someday.
Small hammer and a straight pick. BTDT. You could also make your own double-hole terminal with some copper or aluminum tubing, a bench vise, a drill press, and the Harbor Freight hydraulic crimper. With the double crimp it is very hard to get the 2nd smaller crimp open, that's the problem.
