I have a 92 K1500 Heavy Half and I'm wanting to replace my old stock receiver with a new one. My question is do I need a Class 3 or Class 4? I rarely haul anything and I can't see hauling nothing heavier than a car (ever). What's the best choice for me? Thank you.

Just my opinion, but if you already have one, and rarely haul anything then why replace it. I pull a trailer about 60% of the time and I have never had anything but a stock one and never had any issues.

I come from the exact opposite frame of thought. If im going to go out and buy something why buy it twice. I mean what if there is that one time you need to tow something heavy. Then your going to have to swap out to a larger unit.
