I've seen a few in person, one ran around my college town. Would be great if you only ever towed a trailer and needed the capacity. Otherwise the combination of dually and short bed are pretty useless.

DO IT!!!!! Seriously, I usually don't care for dually suburbans, but it would fit your truck really well.

2nd one is standard dually flares, but the the flares on the first truck are definitely shorter. On the second truck they nearly overlap the gas cap, but on the first one there's a good 2-3" gap. Or are you saying that in 99/00 all of the dually flares were shorter, even on long beds?

The second truck looks like a conversion.

It's not something I'd want to do with my burb, I'm just curious as to whether or not they'd fit without needing to notch around the door handles.
