Ok, so i came from owning an NNBS 07 lifted and ready for the sand. I decided i needed to move and had to do whats best for me and the gf so i sold it, got out from underneath it and purchased a 98 GMC Sierra SLT for $3500 and so far its been an awesome investment. Had 170k miles when i bought it, really nothing wrong with it when i purchased it besides the owner didnt really take much care for it the last few months of owning it. Heres basically the start until now of what i've done to it.

I debadged the sides and removed the moldings that were faded and gross, gave it a nice polish.

Also cranked the front for the time being.

Swapped out the original yellow lights and the lower turn signal lights to clear

While removing the rear badges it pulled off some of the clear so i decided to run new letters on there to hide it.

Purchased the rough country 3" leveling kit. Lots of hate on it but i took a chance and i like it quite a bit.

My friend sold me his old 20s and worn down 35"s toyos so i threw those on. They're temporary until i can get the wheels i want.

I forgot to order rear bumper brackets at the time so i ran bumper less.

I flipped the hooks to inside the frame horns as i think cutting the lower valence to have tow hooks looks retarded.

Found the wheels i wanted after fighting with Method to get some Standards. Apparently they're having HUGE manufacturing issues and didnt tell me until AFTER i had paid.

Weld Cheyenne's in 18x10. Polished. These were in rough shape. Came with 36x13.5 BFG KM2s.

Got home and threw them on. The fit but i HATE the look of KM2's, not to mention im stupid stuffed.

These Welds were on my friends truck who had gotten them and in the 48 hours after he got in a head on accident. So naturally just about 48 hours rolled around and i walked out to this.

It scratched the crap out of the hood but thankfully no dents.

Shortly after new tires were installed it broke down on me coming home on a Friday night in traffic.

Ended up being a crank sensor failure. Replaced it and all is well, also replaced the fuel filter which was dumping black gas so it needed it anyway.

Like i said earlier, these wheels were in BAD shape. Previous owner didnt take any care of them seems like. So i polished them.

At this point i was beginning to think these wheels were cursed. Right after i fixed the crank sensor, the radiator started leaking at basically all ports.

Replaced that as well as a steering line that i guess had split.

While tightening up everything (of course) it stripped out the lower oil cooling line fitting. Very frustrated i gave up on it for the weekend and left it at my parents. I did some reading and ordered the oil filter adapter "mod" and removed the cooling lines and the adapter for it. I dont tow, and will barely be using it to get THAT hot.

While i had the radiator out i decided to pick up some LS1 efans.

I will say it runs SO much better with the efans in there and the clutch fan removed. It feels like it free'd up so much power and the fans work perfectly.

My order came through for some new door handles and i was pretty excited as the old ones seemed to be original and looked very dated.
