98 k1500 4wd not working!!!!!

I looked at a breakdown of the front diff and seen there is an actuator and an engagement switch. I'm guess I replaced the actuator where is the engagement switch at?

Well I found the problem!! I put axle seals in my truck a few weeks ago and did not realize that it needed to be in 4wd to pull the long axle out or that gear would have no way to be supported and the end that rides in the inner axle shaft fell and jacked up the bearing in the inner axle and wouldn't let it lock in. Leason learned and new bearing ordered.
