Well Shoot glad I ran across this thread. I've got a 95 k1500 and was just about to pull the trigger on the KO2 295/75R16. I had a friend tell me I could fit that on my stock suspension with maybe just a little bit of torsion bar crank to fit it up front. Y'all telling me this tire size is too big for our trucks?

K1500 and torsion bars means 4wd, so that sits up higher than a stock C1500. 265/75 came standard on some, and I believe most people manage to fit 285/75/16 with some torsion bar cranking and maybe slight trimming.

I once fit 285/75/16s on my K1500 Suburban with minimal cranking and no trimming. Nothing rubbed even at full lock.

Thanks for the input guys! Would it be asking too much for a slightly larger tire? Found a good deal on the BFG KO2 in a 295/75R16. I know it's an unconventional size but with it being just slightly larger than the 285/75R16 I didn't know anyone running that size on my rig with stock suspension. So I wanted to be certain it wouldn't be a problem before I made the purchase. Even if there's slight rubbing on full lock a spacer may solve that issue yea?

Yes but a spacer may cause rubbing somewhere else. Every truck is different. Tire sizes seem to be hit or miss. I fit 32x11.5r15 on my truck with a 2" lift (2wd) and it rubbed when in reverse pretty badly. I couldn't dream of stuffing them under there stock but that guy up there ^^^ did.

Ya every truck is definitely different 4" spindle lift and I had to slightly trim bumper for no rubbing with 32 11.5r15.. might just be me though I don't like taking a turn and rubbing. At a slower crawl I didn't have any issues.
