So I was able to run to the junkyard today and get a new inlet tube (I also just deleted the airbox since I had this aftermarket filter laying around).

I also gave the truck a bath.

Okay, that was slightly unexpected.

The airbag light had come on a few days prior, but I just ignored it since it would come and go over the years I owned it.

It must've happended over night, now I'm in fear that the other one will go off, so I'm not driving the truck until I fix this.

My issue now is the fact that my new daily (2001 S10 Blazer) also has an airbag light on.

Maybe I'll drive 'Ol Yeller until I at least get the blazer sorted out.

After I got the dash out, I got a little carried away.

I started to notice the body deteriorating again, so it blew it apart.

Now I can finally put on my new rust free fender.

And fix this rust hole (I'll dust it in with duplicolor).

I'm on spring break right now, so I got some time to do stuff.

Oh man, I really bit off more than I can chew now.

I decided to do swap out the manifold while I was here since the flange is damaged and it keeps going though exhaust doughnuts.

I thought it would be no problem since I've had this manifold off before.

Nope, broke off the last two bolts.

I don't have access to a welder right now (or even a decent drill since both of my dewalt's burned up in the fire). So I'm not dealing with this right now.

I just bolted it back up with the new gaskets (and some copper seal).

Doesn't sound any different then it did.

I got the fender back on, and I also dusted in the quarter where it was rusting out.

I think I'll cut this area out of the old fender for a patch panel.

Is this the truck you pulled your dash from? I took some HVAC pieces since they were so easy to get to.
