Well I thought I'd make a thread to keep up with the progress on my tahoe. I bought my tahoe in November of 2010 from a guy local to me. I let emotion get in the way and bought it even though it wasnt in the best shape and it gave me hell for the first couple months but I think I have most of the kinks worked out .Anyway, on to the pics

day I got it home I swaped the dumbo mirrors and took the tail light covers off along with the fenderwell trim

ordered the ckresto headlight kit just to get rid of the piss colored lights

then I decided I didnt like the "Diamond clear " corners so I bought the old style clears and some led tails

I decided there was too much grey on the interior so I painted the gauge bezel and dyed the carpet on the door panels

I was tired of the ride without a notch so me and a buddy notched it and while I was at it I dropped it another 2 ins in front and an inch in the back .

Then I found this forum and had an idea to send Devs93 my leds to get em smoked and Im glad I did , turned out great

Scored a smoothie bumper and billet grill and bowtie at the junkyard so I had a buddy of mine powdercoat them ,

Found a w/t bumper to match the front

decided I didnt like the chrome grill anymore so I scooped up a new one and colormatched it and put the old billet stuff on it

scored a great deal on some SS wheels sooooo right before Xmas I bought them (My wife loved that)

and cleaned up

I was still bothered by the rake so I after months of seaching I found some stock leafs (thanks CUSTOM06) to swap out the drop leafs and put a flip kit on

which brings me to its current state , I picked up a gmc grill from a local junkyard in prestine contion for only $25 so i figured Id get and just swap em back and forth .I hope you have enjoyed my tahoes short history in pics ,I'm keep this thread updated as I do mods .I still plan to get some 20's, helper bags and cowl hood . let me know what you think

Didn't take you long to make all those changes, I think it looks really clean. One thing that would look good and go with the theme of the Tahoe would be a set of black center caps like that ones that came on the 454ss.

thanks!!I didnt list all the b.s I had to fix right after I bought it ,Didnt want to bore everyone .haha I do plan on painting the center caps one of these days , ckresto.com sells the black stickers with the red bowtie for the center just need to order em
