350 and 305 are the same!! but the year span im not sure.

Yeah it's a wierd mid year split, I have owned both an old 94 and newer 94, and that was the only difference I found in them.

There are some differences in the 88-92 wiring harnesses too. My 92 needed a whole under hood wiring harness and I went to the junk yard and got one from a 1990 or 91 and there is one plug-in that it did not have. I thinki it was inside the cab around the computer. I ended up grabing the harness from my 92 ext cab that was idential. As far as 305/350 yes they are the same.

Thanks for the info. I'm getting ready to swap a motor from a 88 and putting it in a 90. I might need the engine wiring harness from the 88 for 90. The difference in the trucks are the 88 is C1500 auto trany and 90 is C2500 8 lug manual trany.

You qwont need to swap harnesses, Engines should be identical.
