95 LT1 swapped to 95 k1500 ecm F8 wiring

I have a 95 k1500 I put a 95 y body lt1 in it.
I have almost completed the wiring swap but recently realized the TBI PCM had a 4wheel drive indicator F8 pin. Since there is no such indicator in the 95 corvette ecm.
Trying to get the 4 wires in the 4WD harness integrated with the 95 LT1.
Blk =grnd
Brwn= cnv cntr fuse 24
Blk/wht= 4wd indicator on dash
Gry= pcm f8 4wd indicator
1. What did this gray wire do on the TBI?
2. What do I need to do with this wire? (Gray)

Hey, just a guess, but could it tell the ecu if low range is engaged in order to keep speedo correct?
