700R4 Shifting

I've noticed that when I first drive my vehicle after it's sat for awhile, when it's cold, it shifts pretty hard into 2nd gear, then when it warms up, it shifts alot smoother. Any reason as to why this may occur? TV Adjustment? FLuid is good.

AFAIK, pretty normal with archaic transmissions. Mine does it too for about the first 5 mins till its warm.
