If you can justify a 5x7 to sound better you can always go that route. I just don't know how it will fit or sound over he stock 4x6

There are plenty of decent options for 4"x6" speakers. Polk, Alpine, Kicker, MB Quart, etc...

I think this upgrade only works for the 92-96 extended cab because I think in 97-98 they started the third door

I didn't put the 4x6 ones in front, I installed the 6.5" ones in the same line http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SPS610/Alpine-SPS-610.html but the older version, the sps-600
