5.7L to a 6.0L

would a 2wd transmission be able to convert to a 4wd? and I have a line on a 05 motor with 54k on it. now he has the harness, ecm and everything else ill need except the transfer case. Silly question but is the ecm and pcm the same thing?

so you should look at upgrading and buying a nbs cluster 99-07 and preferably one around the same year as the motor and with close mileage but apparently by upgrading clusters it makes that tiny portion of the swap a whole lot easier.

This is not true. The NBS clusters will not swap over.

will it work for my 98 with the 6L motor?

i dont know honestly. I'm sure you could tie it into your harness but I wouldnt be the one to ask how. I was putting it into a 59 Chevy so no realy harness to tie into it. I'm sure one of these guys can answer your question though.
