I lost the transmission in my k2500 it's a '00 so I'm assumin the internals from 96-00 should work? Buying the full kit, possibly a shift kit, anybody have any recommendations for a kit? Only pushing 300 horsepower from the Lil 350 so doesn't need to be bullet proof

Thanks I'm gonna look into it after, for now I got a buddy willing to give me a transmission he has one out of a 97 2500 series can, 4l80e, wondering if it would bolt up and plug in? I'd be using my torque converter

Using a torque converter from a trashed transmission is a sure fire recipe for the replacement or rebuilt transmission to fail as well.

Don't be cheap, buy a reman or new converter.
