454/4l80e 4.10s 285's get roughly 9.5 in the city and highway my truck stays around 2200ish at 70 so I tend to drive 63 to 65 and keep it under 2000

That sounds more like a thermostat stuck open, to me. On the highway, you're already getting a lot of airflow. The fan clutch isn't going to over cool the engine.

Nah, the 195 thermostat functions properly. I mean, it has been in the 20s, and 80 mph 20 degree wind will cool it quick. I still do believe my clutch is staying engaged though.

Good to know about the pump. I'm not correcting for tire size, but I believe it's a fairly minor correction - like 3-4%.

I have 4.10's, 4WD, and 285/75R15's with aluminum wheels and slightly aggressive tread. I've recently done a tune-up from the coil (Accel) to the plugs (Gapped to .055) with 8mm Taylors. Exhaust is a 2-in 2-out flowmaster that dumps under the bed (absolutely hate it until I let off of the throttle next to priuses).

I get 11.2 or so MPG, with the tire size correction that's around 12.5 (10%), and I have a heavy foot.

EDIT!
REDID MY MATH!!!! 11.2 is actually 12.4mpg.

Did you notice much of an increase in your MPG after the tune up, or is that about what you've always averaged?
