40 or BUST

So I want to shove a 40x15 under my Tahoe, but I want absolute minimum lift. Sounds absolutely mind boggling, I know. But I know I can get a 36 with a 6 inch lift, and I can cut fenders for some more, maybe like 3 to 4 inches clearance, but with fender chop and 6 suspension, would a 3 to 4 body get me what I want? I am running stock suspension with 33x12.50 right now, keys turned all the way up.

You could probably stuff them with 6in suspension and 2in body with minimal trimming. 3in body lift and you might not have to trim, but your front end wont last long at all with 40s. Cool truck though.

Yeah, I'd be more concerned with longevity of the entire front end with 40's more than I would clearance.
