I found this while reading about the 4.3 in the Blazer I'm buying:

Sounds really stupid, however if you have one that's cool because its a one of a kind.

I would just make it stock and clean as possible to maintain its uniqueness.

I'm pretty sure I worked on a k2500 with a 4.3L TBI about ten years ago. I think it was an ex fleet truck. Some 16 year old kid and his dad just picked it up at an auction as the kids first truck. It was pretty clean. It was a reg cab long box with the HD front end. I think it was an '89? Pretty sure it was a stick too.

I remember it so well because I hadn't seen one before that, and don't recall seeing one since.
