Body lifts work fine. Turbo does not hit the fender. Main reason people do not get a body lift for their 6.5's are due to cooling issues. You either need to delete the lower radiator shroud, or make custom brackets.

Removing the lower rad shroud will also cause cooling issues. The shroud is an integral part of the clutch fan cooling system. It makes the fan draw through the rad rather then just beat air around the engine bay.

However, 65 TDs really only have issues with cooling when towing.

That doesn't sound like something the OP is intending to do so body lift away.

Or, use some drop brackets for the rad and shroud. That would likely require a touch of fabrication work to keep the upper shroud and you may have to cut/weld the lower rad support channel to keep it properly orientated with the clutch fan.

Or, another option is to use electric fans if you don't plan to tow with it.

My preference would be to modify the core support to keep the shroud or just go with a full coverage electric setup.

Do electric fans pull enough CFM for a Diesel? If i recall right another option is extending the shroud...i think it was outaline that suggested that.

Only in a non-towing application.

Towing requires an "up to *****" clutch fan, 9 blade steel or composite duramax fan swap....

That's a sexy truck! how much lift you think you got overall? I like that stance! I'm probably gonna try to get those.

how big of tires could i run with just spacers up front to level it?
