Rule says 90 at wot at 60 ft, not 30. My buddies straight pipped bronco bored 0.30 with a monster cam could squeeze in so I imagine with cats yours could.

My biggest worry is tearing out a driveshaft or clutch 5 hours from home.

Same here. if I snap a CV or blow my 10 bolt its still a good 2.5-3 hour drive just to get it back to my garage.

I saw a couple sf 14 bolts for 100-200 bucks, but didn't have the cash to buy em. Now they go for 400-600 when I actually need one and have the money.

I never broke the 1/2 ton one i had, and we off-roaded it to the point the frame is bent. I have found the trick to keeping the ifs in good shape is lots of regular greasings and repair anything that is sloppy as soon as it is noticed. It worked well for me, my lead foot and 35s never could manage to break the half ton one, so i figure the 3/4 ton one will hold up ok.

Anyway, back to the truck this thread was written about, I did a complete rebuild on the front end of it, New cv's, pitman, idler, tie rods, and ball joints.
