Here are a couple pictures of the roll pan test fitted before we weld it for good:

Pulled out the dent in the rear right of the bed, welded a couple washers and used a slide hammer. Worked Like a charm.

Went out and got the new bed from a parts truck yesterday:

Made a little stand for the bed to rest on while we work on it and the ease of moving it in and out of the garage when needed:

This is the color combination we decided to use/go off of. This is the car Detroit Speed Inc. did previously. We plan on doing the same color combo, except we will be changing the color of the pin stripping around the flames from orange to purple or yellow.

why buy a another bed when you have already started on the red one? If its like mine I understand, lot of hidden rust on the under side and inside the wheel wells.

We bought another bed because with metallic paint it shows all the little dents and where you used bondo. For $300 I couldn't pass it up. Taking my old bed to the scrap yard later this week.

The color of the truck was originally going to be crimson red or IROC blue. Then we went to the turkey run car show at daytona international speedway over thanksgiving and saw that car built by detroit speed inc.
