Hello I just got my first truck it’s a 1998 Chevy Silverado 1500 ext cab 5 speed manual the day I got it I was driving home I ended up going to see one of my buddy’s we went for a little ride around town truck was running fine we went back to his house and when I left it was still running fine but a little down the road something on the end of my clutch pedal came out out and my clutch was just loose I started it up and drove towards my house I was going up the road a steep hill I tried downshifting from 4th to 3rd so I can gain speed to get up the hill but it wouldn’t go into gear from neutral and I stopped and it started ticking/knocking
