A little late than never, but starting a build thread regardless.
Bought the truck in February of 2013, after deciding that I would return to Alaska to finish college. (I was living in Prescott, Arizona for school.) I am the second owner, and Original owner took great care of the truck. Only rust is on the bed rails, and the paint is in need of assistance, but I am not eager to re-paint the truck only to expose it to nasty wintery road conditions 8 or so months out of the year.
Things that have been done to the truck already:
Jet TBI spacer
Hooker Long tube headers
Edelbrock performer intake manifold
Open Element Air Intake
Current Project:
Re-fabricating exhaust from true duals with 24" glasspacks, to x-pipe with exhaust exiting passenger side in front of rear axle.
(Finishing up fab-work tomorrow, and will post pictures and update upon completion.)
Future projects:
Dynamic EFI Flash ECU
Vortec Head Swap
Camshaft Upgrade
Bushing replacement
