The gm ifs gets stiffer due to the geometry change, there is no change in the bars. The spring rate in a property of the metal.

Aftermarket keys on a gmt 400 are pointless since the Oem keys have enough adjustment to put the upper a arms on the droop stops, which is the limiting factor.

You will need a front end alignment after lifting it by "cranking" as there will be a camber change to the positive and a slight toe change. Been a while but I believe i recall they will toe in. It might still drive normal but you will have accelerated/abnormal tire wear. They will wear quicker on the outside edge and "scrub".

Abnormal tire wear is insidious. You don't notice it while it's happening but one day you look at your tires and there it is. Once they're worn that way, you're stuck with it even if you get an alignment.

Not what you want after spending $$$$ brand new tires.....:(
