    got my fly wheel into today and it is smaller in diameter than the stock i dont think the clutch i ordered is goin to fit

    got off phone with summit my block is drill for both starters so i just ordered the other starter that works with the fly wheel i got plus it was cheaper swapping starters than just changing flywheels

    jet or hypertec offers sum nice chips id go with jets personaly and they run about 130 for chip and are nothing to instal and they also offer a chip programer where u can program and burn your chip yourself

    went to change thermostat in 89 today broke stude off lol drilled it out no good who ever did it last put lock tight on it and alot of it thats no good on aluminum got to put heli coil in it now thinkn bout selling it

    when doin a cam swap springs are alway a good thing along with valve guide seals and lifters also no since in goin that far and not replacen these things

    damn i believe that i have the stagerd mount i will have to check when get home but pretty sure thats it that realy sux is there a way to change the starter gear or starter or did i just buy a flywheel that i cant use

    also i might have just f up need to know what the tooth count is on flywheel dumba** me just remebered that there are two diff tooth counts 153 and 164 i think how can i tell what mine is with out counting them

    yea thats what i gathered but for no more than i drive it think it will be fun if not il change it back lol i have also discovered during my ramblin of parts found wat is called hypertec power charger never seen this befor and am curiouse bout how and if it works

    hes right i did a cam swap in my 96 but bigger than urs i did a lt4 hot cam 525 lift and 1.6 roller rockers and it ran terrible till tune

    i have 96 gmc step side with few mods i busted the bell houseing on 5 speed just got new tranny ordered dual friction clutch centerforce and am wondering if i should get a lighter flywheel the stock is like 33lbs looking at one the is 12.1lbs would this help or hurt?

    thanks for the info n yes it has a 700r4 trans. i am goin to swap the heads for vortec heads and swap cam for an rv cam wat intake and size carb would be best

    No not at moment im on a job n port arthur tx. I am on my phone and dont have a pic or way to post it but it is a watts link that is on basicly a cross member behind c-notch and bars go to each end of axle. Thats why i am worried bout it flexing and breaking might brace it up just for insurance lol

    I have a 305 it puts down 257 hp275 torque at the wheels it has long tube headers lt4 hot cam 1.6 roller rockers pcm tune cold air intske and mass airflow sensor but its rwo wheel drive for u iv hesrd that 3.83 is bout best of both worlds and fsr as mileage add sum electric fans that will help...

    I have a watts link that doesnt bolt to rear end it stands alone on its own basicly like a cross member im not sure how well it will work thinkn its goin to flex alot how much stress does a watts link have on it
