The sad thing is that I have a rust free standard cab literally laying in my yard...

The next truck I buy will be from your neck of the woods, they are all pretty clean out there. I'm certainly not going to continue patching this one lol.

A little late to the party, but the Valley class IV hitch I have, I originally put it on my 89 C1500, and it fit "fine" other than the rear bumper and frame being tweaked. I took it off and bolted it right up to my K2500 with no issues, so maybe there are just some that are different?

You're really late lol, I must have a Suburban hitch, those are different apparently.

They are. The suburban hitches sit higher due to body mount bushings raising the body off the frame in back 2 or three inches. They work well for body lifted trucks with relocated bumpers. The trucks' beds sit right on the frame so the bumpers sit lower and the hitches do too.

It's really the only thing that makes sense, since all the holes line up lol.
