Very nice! Seems like the nice red on the 400s hold up better than other colors. Or maybe they tend to be taken better care of.

I bought this truck off the original owner last summer, he had it for 20 years! The paint or maybe clear coat is faded on the drivers side above the 4x4 decal and cab corners are a bit rusty haha and a strange spot on the passenger side, other than that it's in great shape! Not near as nice as yours!

I didn't take a picture of the other side of my truck but the passenger door is kinda faded. No chipping or rust anywhere though. I could probably buff out the door but it honestly doesn't bother me much. I bought my poor truck from an 18 year old wannabe gangster type guy. The driver mirror and passenger tail-light where smashed at a party he said, luckily I had my old 94 c1500 to take parts from. My 1500 can live on in my 2500. And needless to say he completely burned up the clutch. The arm for the throw out bearing was broken into 4 pieces. And he let the oil cooler lines leak. I've head stories of those things popping off when they get lose and draining all the oil. I may have fallen in love with her a little to quick but I have no regrets.

All the PO's mistakes can be repaired, I want to upgrade my engine and my tranny, I'd like the Nv4500 and a 350, I only have a nv3500 and a 305, still is fun to drive tho!

I recommend changing those cooler lines if you haven't, best to do it when your due for an oil change

I did when I got the truck. Later the cooler inside the radiator broke and turned my antifreeze into chocolate milk. So yeah had to flush the oil and antifreeze and put a new radiator. No issues since then though.

Nice truck, I have a RCLB 2500. Do you already have a 4" lift in the front? Or did you just ditch the factory block with a shackle flip?

Thanks! I bought it with a 4 inch lift. Don't know what kind but it had blocks in the rear that caused axle wrap, also one of the bolts that holds the leaf pack together snapped off in the block. I just swapped out the blocks for the shackle flip. As mentioned above I put the brackets on the wrong side so it's a little raked but it should level out when I fix it this weekend.

Ok, that makes more sense lol. I was thinking, I'm pretty sure I don't have rear blocks lol.

My truck is squatted, in spite of only having two brake rotors in the bed lol.

Slept in a little and then wet to work on my truck.

Fortunately for my sanity, it didn't take me long to make progress. I used a huge pry bar against the spare tire to hold the leaf spring down, knock the shackle out of the way with a hammer then unbolt the bracket.

How the shackle should face.

Got em back on (facing the correct direction), rotated the tires, and drove down to one of those do it yourself car washes. I think those are fun and I can get dirt out from underneath with the pressure washer. And their vending machine has red-bull.

The finished shackles (for real this time). The shackle bolt should be getting pushed toward the front of the truck. With it facing the other way it must have been like 6 inches of lift. Now that it's correct it's level again and my tires don't look so tiny and I don't have a goofy looking rake. I think I still have some issues with rear axle alignment. I can't quite tell but it just looks a little crooked. It's not dog walking though. I just have a funny feeling it's not quite right and it's bugging me quite a bit. And whenever I look at it against the lines of the bed it appears to be parallel. It honestly probably doesn't matter though, I may just be seeing things.
