Been looking for a good forum to help me along with my 1998 C1500 Silverado 2WD Std Cab, long box. Always loved the looks of these trucks, and of course, been a small block Chevy fan for too long to remember.
Found my current ride about a month ago. It's got 85,000 miles (up here, that's 140,000 Kilometers), and someone ticked a lot of option boxes on ordering this beast. Fortunately, all the bells and whistles still ding and tweet, so I've got my fingers crossed. Since I got it, I've been doing a bunch of routine maintenance--greasing the front end, oil and filter change, fuel filter change, coolant change, diff oil change, and I'm about to suck all the old brake fluid out with a Mityvac.
Anyway, this forum seems to be a great source of knowledge and good truckma, so I'm glad I found it. Gonna try to include a picture, but don't hold your breath.
