Triple... i dont know about 1 ton but I did a 1/2 ton swap this weekend. Slid a 2000 z71 axle under my sons 91 z71. 4 wheel disc, super nice. wasn't that bad, only had to buy spring pads and shock tabs. Reused existing hard brake lines, just had to bend a bit. Got lucky and the original ujoint even worked.
