no the texture on the dark grey portion of the dash piece is not the same as the texture on the rest of the cab. For that I just used a thicker paint and sprayed it at a further distance so the paint has time to open up and semi dry causing it to texture the panel.- puresw

Dude I totally feel you on the SPL rant. I'm not one for cramming a million watts and a thousand subs in my car to play it at 100hz and make numbers pop up on a meter. Thanks man. I see you did a nice blow through in your truck. Did you notice any increase in road noise after the blow through. Yes the kicks and doors will most likely see different air space and may cause a difference in sound but the chances of them being recognized audibly will only show if the drivers were played and compared A/B. I plan to vent them eventually but I figured I would give it a try and see how it goes just as is with it channeling into the rocker and up.
