For mostly city driving I wouldn't do it. I'd look into a trutrac style limited slip. I can't hear it engage but my exhaust does set off car alarms if I want to. My truck sees more mud and gravel than pavement. Sent from my DROID RAZR

Let's talk lockers

I run a lockright. Takes some getting used to especially in the rain. First time or two was not fun at all but now I don't notice it. Just coast through all turns and don't stab the throttle. Sent from my DROID RAZR

What kind of mileage do you get?

Figured I'd update this my GMT800 gets 15 in town. :puke: My GMT400 now gets 17 in town guess aiming for low rpm power in the country has its benefits when you move to the city except the effin cops. Sent from my DROID RAZR

Leveling kits...

Hi Dave, Canuck motorsports makes leveling springs for the truck. If you go with a 3 inch spring you'll need new upper control arms. But if you go with a spacer go with billet aluminum as the urethane ones will wear down and sag over time. Nic Sent from my DROID RAZR

How bad could it be?? (gearing question)

I ran a similar set up 33x1250s and 3.08s. Until I upgraded to 4.56s If you're never in a hurry it won't be too bad. But of course my transmission could die a horrible death tomorrow and i wouldn't be surprised. Sent from my DROID RAZR

will these work?

15s fit much easier on a gmt400 vs a gmt800. The stock 16s from my cousin's 94 z71 don't fit my 2000 z71 comfortably Sent from my DROID RAZR
