I've been throwing parts at it to get the idle better which got me wondering is there a tool that would scan an obd1 truck and tell you if a sensor is working within certain parameters or at all?     I was thinking the same thing. It's just been so cold here I haven't wanted to go out and do the work. The guy at the auto store sold me the gasket and the tube of gasket maker. Should I use both?

    So it smells rich while running, stopped at a light its running rough unless i put it in park or neutral. And then my tempature guage has never went higher then this

    Also thanks for mentioning that the other sensor was supposed to only have one wire. I was over here stressing the other wiring got cut.
